Wild Weekend in Craig MT

What fun we've been having in Craig this late summer 2009. Successful $1 Fly Sale @ Headhunters Fly Shop last night. People came out by the droves and stuffed their boxes full. What a bargain. We also raised a bucket of cash for Michelle, so, good on you folks.

The BBQ went off without a hitch. SOL never left the grill...uncommon for him...he can wander. But, not all who wander are lost. Keep that in mind. Good participation in conjunction with the Fly Sale.

Folks are still here in force. The river is busy with fisherman and pleasure floaters. Our shuttle crew is spending a lot of time running up and down the river making people smile when the truck is at the boat ramp ending the day. Check us out next time you are in town...the most inexpensive and prompt shuttle service on the entire Mo. Feel free to call in your shuttle en route to the river if you wish. 877/DRY-FLYS

Start dreaming about your fall Missouri River trip. The Baetis will be here sooner than you think. Don't be the last one on your block to book your individual Fall Fling. The Outfitters Ball is Oct 31st. Fun filled weekend with competitions, music, raffles, lots of give-aways. Hosted by the community of Craig and the Central Business District. Headhunters is a major sponsor of this event and hope you all will attend.
Ridiculous Boat Behavior of the Year: Sinking your buddy's boat & losing all his gear. NOTE: Be aware at all times of your anchor, oars, and position of your boat. Try to eliminate sinking the ship. Water is a powerful medium and care should be taken at all times!!

Hot Dog Question/Preference: Nathan's or Hebrew National?

Recreational anglers fall into one of the two groups: casual and dedicated. The first group treat fishing as a way to unwind from the daily grind, get some fresh air, and maybe catch a fish now and then. The latter group takes it more seriously and some-quite a few-become involved to the point of obsession. When not fishing, they read about it, talk about it, watch videos, attend courses, and join clubs with other fishing fanatics.
